For twelve years, the Uniquely Union BBQ Festival features
serious competition between top BBQ competitors,
great BBQ restaurants from our area and around the country.
The festival is a Kansas City Barbecue Society
sanctioned State Championship contest for South Carolina.
Our Teams and Judges come from New York, Florida,
and as far west as Kansas to participate in this
award winning event.
There is much for visitors to do at our event. Aside from the
mouthwatering food, festival goers will have the
opportunity to enjoy music, dancing, and awesome competitions.
Attendees will find a fabulous selection of crafts.
Kids will find more than enough to do in the Kids Zone from
having their faces painted,
sliding down a HUGE slide, and much more.
We do hope that while you are at the festival, you will visit
with the cooking teams that help make this event a success.

and will be located again on the campus of UCS-Union at Academy
